Many Chinese offices are working with half the staff they normally have access to or staff working remotely. Overall, many offices for the carriers are closed through February 17th and sailing schedules can be patchy.

More specifically:

Nanjing and Chongqing, offices are closed, their staffs are working remotely. They use Shanghai whose port is still operational.

Shanghai remains open with most employees working remotely. The good news is that the warehouse is back to operation, with only minor delays. The trucking is back in operation as well with longer transit time with drivers staying home.

Dalian is currently open with staff working remotely. Also, the warehouse is back to operation with delays. Trucking is working.

Ningbo Local Government directive does not allow work in the office. Employees work from home remotely. No warehouses are open, and the trucking are not working. However, the Ports are operational.

Qingdao remains open with most employees working remotely from home. Good news, the warehouse is back to operation with delays. The trucking is back in operation as well with longer transit time with drivers staying home.

Xiamen remains open with most employees and some of the staff is working remotely from home. The warehouse has returned to operation. However, do expect delays. Trucking has resumed, but expected the service is not 100% back as normal and 24 hours advance booking is required. Good news, the warehouse is back to operation with delays. The trucking is back in operation as well with longer transit time with drivers staying home.

Shenzhen local Government directive does not allow work in the office. Employees work from home remotely. No warehouses are open and the trucking are not working.

Guangzhou remains open with most employees and some of the staff is working remotely from home. The warehouse has returned to operation. However, do expect delays. Trucking has resumed, but expected the service is not 100% back as normal and 24 hours advance booking is required. Good news, the warehouse is back to operation with delays. The trucking is back in operation as well with longer transit time with drivers staying home.

To ship or not to ship, we are not aware of any Corona Virus infected any China staff members. Good safety precautions are taken, we advise our importers or exporters shipping to or from China to book early to avoid delays.
